How to process MOTO transaction on Wonder mPOS

Introduction

Mail Order/Telephone Order Payment (MOTO) is a card-not-present payment process, designed for merchants, such as hotels or businesses, that require remote payment processing. It allows transactions to be completed by manually entering the authorized credit card information, making it ideal for situations where the cardholder is not physically present.

How to use the MOTO Payment Feature

MOTO Payment is a simple and secure payment method. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to complete your payment process:

Step 1: Choose the "MOTO Payment" Module

On the home page, locate the list of available modules. Click on the "Moto Payment" module to enter the payment page.

Step 2: Enter the Payment Amount

On the payment page, input the desired payment amount you want to pay. Once you confirm the amount, click the "Next" button to proceed.

Step 3: Enter Credit Card Information

On the next page, you need to provide the required information of the authorized credit card.

  • Required Fields:
    • Card Number: Enter the full credit card number (usually 16 digits).
    • Expiration Date: Enter the card's expiration date (format: MM/YY).
  • Optional Field:
    • CVV Code: Input the 3-digit security code on the back of the card (optional).

After verifying all details, click the "Confirm" button to submit the payment request.

On this page, you can find the supported methods for MOTO Payment. Now, we only have Mastercard and Visa available.

Step 4: Payment Result

The system will process your payment and redirect you to the payment result page.

On the result page, you will see the following details:

  • Whether the payment is successful or failed.
  • Additional payment details, such as the transaction amount and reference number.

If the payment fails, you can click ‘Cancel’ button back to the home page and retry the process.

View and Manage MOTO Transactions

MOTO payment transactions are recorded as normal Sales transaction records.

  1. Go to the Homepage and Click on the [Transactions] module to access your transaction records.
  2. Click on the transaction record that you transacts via MOTO process, to view further details.
